I am Willimina Mala Netia fondly known as (MINA). I am married and mother of four children. I have worked in the University in a capacity of Secretary since 1994 giving me working experience of 27 years.  Since then I have risen to position of Assistant Executive Secretary. Currently I am An Assistant Executive Secretary in the office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (RIE). I hold B.A in Education and a Master of Arts degree in Project Planning and Management, University of Nairobi. I also, teach as part-time Lecturer teaching project planning Tools and Techniques to B.A students.  During this period, I have supervised 50 Diploma student to completion.  Currently I am pursuing my PhD in Strategic Management and in the process of defending my proposal. I am a self-oriented person with unique skills. In the year 2018, I was elected as a Director Chuna SACCO and served for one term and I held a position of Vice Chairman and Credit Chairman.  

I coordinated successfully and facilitated 47 county capacity study, the Chancellors 2nd Round Table High Level meeting, a workshop on Social Protection and Informal Economy, Trained women on self-awareness in Southern Sudan (Lokichoggio, Chukudum, Kapoeta, Lorema) and among others. I also participated in the IDS@50 and ensured that the participants were invited, visa and other travel documents are facilitated.  During the Rapid results initiative, I coordinated the process and ensured that the facilitators were well facilitated.  I have also been involved in several committees such as Records Management Committee, Strategic Plan Review Committee, ISO Standards Committee, performance contracting where I was among the secretariat. I have successfully coordinated the student’s yearly simulation exercise, table etiquette, multilateral and bilateral diplomatic negotiations and report writing. 

I have strong Administrative background coupled with excellent computer skills for the provision of complete Administrative and Secretarial services.  A self-motivated worker with excellent communication skills and public relations with ability to prioritize and manage workload and willing to go an extra mile to achieve the organizational goals and objectives.

I am keen to contribute to the pension scheme being Market Leader in member welfare and desire to maintain a sense of belonging, projecting to positive results, integrity and sustainable development, collective responsibility in engaging in team work, good self-awareness and seek to build a good environment for the stake holders.
